And they marry themselves at the altar of lust as they look in the eyes of their bridegroom.
Many women have made their wedding day and the idea of marriage their idol because they have turned the altar of God into their altar of worship in their minds.
They were taught to “fantasize” about this day from their youth, and many did this before they were first taught what and Who Love is, which is Jesus.
They daydream about their dresses, wedding colors, and the wedding’s reception foods, so much so that many don’t even bother to think about how their husband may look like;
…let alone care about how he may be morally.
No—their “future” bridegroom is just a placeholder in their minds and nothing more; just as Jesus, who should be their first bridegroom, is just a footnote in their minds and not first…
This is because the wedding day is all about them, and every day leading up to this day has been all about them. In their mind, they are first.
So at the altar they may say, “I do”, but what they would really be doing is talking to themselves. In their hearts they are saying “I do, and will remain devoted to my body; to my flesh; to my pleasures…”, but they would be looking at their bridegroom right in the eyes and not even see him, because their wedding day is all about them.
They only see themselves and hope that others worship and see them at the altar in the same way that they see themselves. This is why for them, it is sooo important for them to have the right bridesmaids and to have many people at their wedding, because to them the more, the merrier!!!.
Their hearts are so far from the man that they claim to marry, just as their hearts are far from Jesus while they speak highly about commitment and devotion to Him. They practice lying to the man they are claiming to be committed to because they first lied to themselves about how they knew God or how they knew how to love but again…
…they never knew love because they never knew Jesus, who is love. All they knew were lies.
This is why these types of females will not understand or appreciate the beauty of marriage that has been instituted by God. Many of them will say, “I love”, but will hate their husbands and children…because it was about them the entire time and not about God.
So they can’t love their husband and delight in being a mother to their children because they haven’t first loved God with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength. So they won’t know how to love anyone because God has yet to teach them what love is and how to practice it to others…
…how to practice loving their neighbor as they would be learning from Him how to love themselves and not lust themselves.
So they see their family as an extension of the worship team, while she would be the center of attention.
They only lusted after the idea of their wedding day being their day, being their altar of worship; but after that day has gone they would have had their lusts fulfilled. This is why after the wedding day they do not — DO NOT; participate in the role of a wife or a mother because they did not realize that marriage was not about a day…but about a lifetime.
They did not realize or care that marriage was not about them, but was about service and submission…words that are foreign to their vocabulary — well of course, unless someone else is performing these acts towards her.
And in terms of marriage spiritually, because they did not know Jesus, they did not realize that marriage was about eternity and union to the Father in Heaven. To them, they have defined their wedding day as a day of lust and celebration of lust instead of a celebration of Life!
It is written:
As in the days of Noah… people will be marrying and being given into marriages…
Many will be marrying but won’t be married to Jesus because they don’t love God with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength. They will “love” themselves and their lusts more than God… as in the days of Noah; and they will be destroyed by their lusts as well.
Be careful, guys, you don’t want to marry a woman like this!
She will eat you up and spit you out, and you will destroyed right along with her, because deciding to marry a woman like this, will reveal the lusts that is within you that mirrors her.
As the marriage vows go,
“…till death do us part”
Your marriage to her will be in death, as you both would be departing from God,
holding each other closely as you would be on your way to hell together.
For it is written:
My son, pay attention to my wisdom;
listen carefully to my wise counsel.
Then you will show discernment,
and your lips will express what you’ve learned.
For the lips of an immoral woman are as sweet as honey,
and her mouth is smoother than oil.
But in the end she is as bitter as poison,
as dangerous as a double-edged sword.
Her feet go down to death;
her steps lead straight to the grave.
For she cares nothing about the path to life.
She staggers down a crooked trail and doesn’t realize it.
So now, my sons, listen to me.
Never stray from what I am about to say:
Stay away from her!
Don’t go near the door of her house!
If you do, you will lose your honor
and will lose to merciless people all you have achieved.
Strangers will consume your wealth,
and someone else will enjoy the fruit of your labor.
In the end you will groan in anguish
when disease consumes your body.
You will say, “How I hated discipline!
If only I had not ignored all the warnings!
Oh, why didn’t I listen to my teachers?
Why didn’t I pay attention to my instructors?
I have come to the brink of utter ruin,
and now I must face public disgrace.”
~ Proverbs 5:1-14
Do not make a woman, or make a man, your god. Make wisdom your God and she will preserve your life.
Wisdom is the Word of God, Jesus Christ.
You marry Him, by believing in Jesus alone, then you will never have to sign a prenup, for God does not change His mind, nor does He want or need your money.
And you will never have to worry about betrayal because the only thing that can come from God is the truth, honor, and integrity.
You will never have to worry, because in Him, you will attain peace beyond understanding that He will give to you. And this happens because He will give Himself to you, because you would have been His Bride and given yourself to Him when you divorced your will to only believe and follow the Will of God by having faith in the Word of God, Jesus.
You will have rest from the wild women of the world. And yes as a woman I can see what you see — you are not blind — well; if you are still in lust you are blind, but in Jesus you will not be…that’s why I can see what you are dealing with.
One of my favorite songs to sing to Jesus just crossed my mind and I want to share it with you.
Here is the link to the video of the song that is by Commissioned called the Ordinary Just Won’t Do; so in case the video is taken down in the future, you will know the name of the group and the song I am talking about.
Sing this and don’t let your heart be troubled, and I say this not only to the males, but to the females as well.
